Empowering Voices: Assisting Chagos Refugees in Commemorative Exhibition
For over 23 years, Maluti Communications has been a steadfast supporter and partner to Olivier Bancoult’s Chagos Refugees Group. We have walked alongside them during their unyielding fight for their rightful return to their homeland, from which they were unjustly deported over half a century ago. We worked with them on a previous exhibition that accompanied the Chagos Refugees Group to the UN head-office in New York, shedding international light on their cause.
This year, in June, we were once again honored to assist in curating a photo-exhibition that portrayed the Chagos community’s life in the Chagos 50 then, and their challenges and victories since. The journey towards justice continues. Join us in amplifying their voices and advocating for their homecoming.
